Creamy Tomatillo Sauce

Serves 4

1 tablespoon water
½ cup “lightly packed” cilantro
1 garlic clove
½ pound tomatillos (approximately 5; remove stems and husks)
1 “stemmed” jalapeno
2 scallions or green onions (trim roots and tops)
¼ teaspoon salt or to taste

In a food processor or blender, place the green onions, garlic, tomatillos, jalapeno, cilantro, water, half of the avocado, and salt. Now, puree until the mixture is smooth.

Diva Tip:
